Sophia Morris, and other former shack dwellers are giving thanks, … thanks to actions of The Niall Mellon Township Trust and other charity organisations that are building houses for people or buying them furniture for their new houses.

The vision of Niall Mellon is to eradicate the landscapes of shacks, for which the trust was established in 2002.  Throughout 2008, they held a series on one day volunteer ‘builds’ in the Western Cape where volunteers physically help in their mission to build high quality low cost homes for shack-dwellers.
