  • Bakery – Khayelitsha Cookie Company was founded to uplift local unemployed women, bakes on demand.
  • Cuisine – Gugu le Africa serves traditional Xhosa and Cape-style cuisine and drinks include Amarhewu and homemade beer and ginger beer.
  • Sport – OR Tambo Recreation Centre is a multi-purpose indoor sporting arena which regularly hosts boxing tournaments.
  • Party – V&A Waterfront, a shebeen named after the Cape Town shopping mall, offers locals and tourists games of pool, beer, music and company.
